This policy explains what personal data the OUTSPOKEN website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little: no advertising, no tracking, no data sold to anyone.

What we collect and why
When you send us a brief or a message
Through the contact form or by email we receive what you choose to tell us: your name, email address, company, phone number (optional), your message, and, if you add it, the timing. We use them only to answer you and to discuss a possible project.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- How long we keep it: up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless we start working together, in which case it is kept as long as the contract and the law require (for example, accounting rules).
When you simply visit the site
Like every website, our server records technical data for each request (IP address, browser, the page asked for, date and time). We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working, and they are deleted after a short period set by our hosting provider. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies and storage on your device
The public site sets no cookies: no analytics, no advertising, no social media pixels. That is why you don’t see a cookie banner. Fonts and images are served from our own server, not from third parties.
Two small preferences are kept in your browser’s storage, never sent to us and containing no personal data:
outspoken-intro(session storage): remembers that you have seen the opening animation, so it doesn’t play again until you close the browser.outspoken-work-view(local storage): remembers whether you prefer the Work page as a grid or a list.
You can clear both at any time from your browser settings. Only people who log in to manage the site receive WordPress login cookies.
Who sees your data
Only the OUTSPOKEN team, and the providers that run the site and our email (hosting and email services), who process data on our behalf and under contract. We don’t sell or rent personal data. If a provider stores data outside the European Economic Area, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
People in our event photos
Our project pages show photos from events we produced. If you appear in one and would like it removed or blurred, write to ofelia@outspoken.biz / gabriela@outspoken.biz and we will take care of it promptly.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to your data, its correction or deletion, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to ofelia@outspoken.biz / gabriela@outspoken.biz; we answer within one month.
You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal), dataprotection.ro.
Children
This site is meant for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect data from children through it.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and its “last updated” date.
